At first, this red blend (Syrah, Grenache, Petite Sirah, Mouvedre, Consault and Cartignane) from Fess Parker is delicious, big and full. After about half a glass, though, its sweetness overcomes everything else. And just like with many rich and sweet things, after a bit it's a bit much. Would probably be great with something spicy like Cajun, Indian or Chili. Not so good while sitting on the couch getting caught up with tivo. $8.99 at Binny's, $9.99 at Trader Joe's.
